Nikkei, presenters and other rights holders own all the intellectual property rights including copyrights of the forum's videos, voices, materials, etc.
You must not: (a) make any video or audio recording of the forum longer than 20 seconds; (b) livestream the forum or any session within the forum; (c) use any photographs, recordings or livestreams from the forum for commercial purposes, unless Nikkei has expressly agreed otherwise in writing; (d) make any photographs, recordings or livestreams of the forum where instructed not to do so; or (e) use any photographs, recordings or livestreams from the forum for any malicious purpose or in any manner that could damage or impair Nikkei’s reputation.
For clarity, any recording you make must not intentionally include the likeness or image of other visitors. If the likeness or image of another visitor is included, you shall obtain that attendee’s prior consent at your own responsibility. Any dispute arising between you and such attendee in connection with the use of such recording shall be a matter solely between you and that attendee, and Nikkei shall have no responsibility or liability whatsoever in relation thereto.
You acknowledge that the forum, whether a physical forum or digital forum, or part of it, may be recorded or photographed by, or on behalf of, Nikkei. You agree that Nikkei, or any third party authorised by Nikkei, may make public, use and create derivative works from such recordings or photographs for any purposes and in any media (including, without limitation, social media), worldwide and forever, at Nikkei’s discretion. Such purposes may include (without limitation) advertising, publicity, reporting, education, research, technology development (including training artificial intelligence systems) or any other related activities. If you have any concerns about being included in any photographs or recordings, please inform Nikkei before such photography or recording takes place.
When a violation is found, the organizer may request the violator to cease such violation and/or delete any unlawfully created materials, and the violator shall promptly take all actions necessary to comply with such requests.
Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the organizers, the organizers shall not bear any responsibility or liability of any kind (whether direct or indirect, explicit, or implied) of any damages suffered by visitors in connection with their attendance at the forum.
Please follow the instructions of the staff at the venue and refrain from any activities that may disturb other visitors.
Matters concerning this forum will be interpreted in accordance with Japanese law, and all disputes, controversies or differences arising out of or in connection with this forum shall be finally settled by arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of The Japan Commercial Arbitration Association. The place of the arbitration shall be Tokyo, Japan.
Please note that the program is subject to change, including session times and speakers, or cancellation at any time without prior notice due to circumstances beyond the control of the organizer.
In the event of cancellation by the organizer, registration fees will be refunded. However, the organizer will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, including travel, accommodation, or other related expenses, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
