Asadej Kongsiri

President, The Stock Exchange of Thailand

Mr. Asadej Kongsiri has been the President of The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) since September 19, 2024. He currently serves as a Director of the Capital Market Development Fund and Vice Chairman of the Sem Pringpuangkeo Foundation.

Mr. Kongsiri’s past experiences include serving as Lead Partner for Financial Advisory at Deloite Thailand, Managing Director of Investment Banking at Finansa Securities Limited, Head of Thailand at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Vice President of Investment Banking at JP Morgan in Thailand. He has also worked as a Financial Management Officer and Insurance Secretary at Trans Thai-Malaysia (Thailand) Limited. Earlier in his career, he served as a Project Engineer at the PTT Gas Business Unit of PTT Public Company Limited.

Mr. Kongsiri holds a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusets Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK. He has also completed the Director Certification Program from the Thai Institute of Directors Association.
