Kazutoshi Hatasue

Head of Japanese Partnership Management & Special Project Central Pattana

Kazutoshi Hatasue is a senior real estate and business development executive with over 18 years of experience in commercial real estate, retail development, investment, and strategic partnerships across Japan and Southeast Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Management from Hitotsubashi University and completed the Asia Business Leader Development Program at the Kyoto University Graduate School of Management.

He currently serves as Head of Japanese Partnership Management & Special Projects at Central Pattana Public Company Limited, Thailand’s leading retail and mixed-use developer. In this role, he is responsible for identifying, negotiating with, and introducing Japanese retail brands and restaurant operators into the Thai market. He works closely with Japanese corporations, franchise operators, and investors to establish strategic partnerships and support business expansion in Thailand. He also leads special projects that strengthen Central Pattana’s position as a preferred destination for Japanese brands. Throughout his tenure at Central Pattana, Mr. Hatasue has successfully supported the market entry of dozens of Japanese retail and restaurant brands into Thailand.

Prior to joining Central Pattana, he held senior leadership positions at Mitsubishi Estate in Singapore and Thailand, overseeing business development, investment, and asset management activities across Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Earlier in his career, he led the development and expansion of office building and retail projects throughout Japan. His expertise includes market entry strategy, leasing, investment evaluation, project development, and cross-border partnership management.
