Louis Liu, vice president at GAC International Thailand, is a seasoned automotive industry professional with nearly 20 years of experience. He has held key positions at GAC Trumpchi, GAC AION and GAC International, and took an integral part in the ground-up development of GAC’s two overseas bases in Thailand and Indonesia.

His long-term research covers EV penetration growth, localized manufacturing, charging and battery-swapping networks, as well as EV mobility ecosystem development across Southeast Asia. He focuses on the overseas expansion strategies of Chinese independent automotive brands and sustainable industrial layout in Southeast Asia.
