Thammasak Sethaudom

President & CEO, SCG

Mr. Thammasak Sethaudom assumed the position of President and CEO of Siam Cement Group (SCG) on January 1, 2024. With more than 30 years of experience across large-scale industrial and regional businesses, he has played a central role in shaping SCG’s strategic transformation, capital allocation, and regional expansion.

Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Thammasak held several senior leadership positions within SCG, including Executive Vice President (2022–2023), Vice President – Finance and Investment and Chief Financial Officer (2018–2021), and General Director of Long Son Petrochemicals Company Limited in Vietnam (2012–2018).

Throughout his career, Mr. Thammasak has consistently focused on strengthening SCG’s long-term competitiveness by integrating digital technologies, advancing regional growth, and reshaping the Group’s portfolio toward higher value-added and sustainable businesses. He has been a key driver behind SCG’s early adoption of digital platforms, including its initial expansion into e-commerce, as well as the development of new growth engines aligned with decarbonization and the Net Zero transition.

Under his leadership, SCG has accelerated its clean energy and climate solutions agenda, including the establishment and scaling of SCG Cleanergy to make end-to-end clean energy solutions more accessible across industrial value chains.

Beyond the Group, Mr. Thammasak actively engages with regional and global stakeholders to support a just and inclusive energy transition. His contributions include driving cross-sector collaborations through ESG platforms in Thailand and ASEAN, and co-chairing “ASEAN Leaders for Just Energy Transition” at the World Economic Forum.

Mr. Thammasak holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, an MBA from London Business School, and has completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School.
