Xiao Minjie

Economist

Xiao is a widely recognized economist specializing in the Chinese economy. Xiao is a frequent source of expert advice and commentary for media outlets, such like TV Tokyo's economic program "Morning Satellite". In his writing work, a book on Chinese economy was published by Nikkei Publishing, Inc. in 2010.

In a survey of institutional investors by The Nikkei Veritas, Xiao was ranked 5th in 2010. He was the first Mainland-born economist ranked in the Ranking since its inception in 1987.

Xiao joined FuNNeX Asset Management as President CEO (2010-2012).

Xiao was Managing Director, Economic Research and Senior Economist at Daiwa Institute of Research in Shanghai and Hong Kong (1994-2010).
