Biography:
Born in 1963
1988 Graduated Waseda Univ. Faculty of Economics, entered NIKKEI
1997~2001 NIKKEI Bahrain and Tehran bureau chief. Made the detailed reports on Gulf Arab countries, Iran, Iraq,Turkey, etc.
2001~2004 Reported the front-lines of Anti-terror war aftermath in South Asian and the Middle East countries. Also made an intensive coverage of humanitarian aid mission in Iraq by Japanese Self Defence Force.
2004~2008 NIKKEI New Delhi Bureau Chief. In charge of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan.
2008~2013 Shifted to JCER. Engaged in a series of research in economy and politics of India and South Asian countries
2013~2017 Deputy editor of NIKKEI ASIAN REVIEW as a launching member
2016~ Returned to JCER, concurrently holding the title of Senior Editor in NKKEI

2009~ Lecturer in Meiji Univ. School of Global Japanese Studies "Indian Economy"
