Yuichi Kitao

President and Representative Director, Kubota

Yuichi Kitao joined Kubota Corporation in 1979. After gaining both engineering and management experiences, he worked his way to the General Manager of tractor division in 2005. He later became a president of Kubota Tractor Corporation in the United States in 2011. In 2019, he was named Representative Director and Executive Vice President of Kubota Corporation and became the General Manager of Innovation Center where Kubota Corporation makes collaborative creations for R&D with external partners around the world.

He was appointed to his current position as President and Representative Director of Kubota Corporation in 2020. He announced Kubota’s Long-Term Vision named “GMB2030” in 2021. To strengthen tractor and other machinery business in India and emerging countries, Kubota Corporation acquired Indian leading tractor manufacturer Escorts Limited in 2022.
