Dr Ben Ellis is Vice President, Sales and Marketing Sustainability at BHP, based in Perth, Australia. Ben has more than 20 years’ experience in iron ore marketing and steelmaking technology research.

Since joining BHP in 2004, he has served numerous technical and commercial roles across Australia, China and Singapore.

In his current role, Ben oversees BHP's value chain sustainability ambitions relating to the utilisation of BHP's products, with a focus on supporting the development of technologies and pathways for green steel production from BHP's iron ore and steelmaking coal portfolio.
