Natsuko MIGUCHI entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2000 and holds a Master of Applied Commerce from the University of Melbourne. She was previously posted to the Embassy of Japan in Canberra, and has served in several roles at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tokyo relating to energy, consular affairs, human security, and diplomatic archives. Ms. Miguchi also previously served as the Deputy Head of Mission at the newly established Embassy of Japan in Vanuatu. In January 2024, Ms. Miguchi was appointed to the Consulate-General of Japan in Melbourne, which has responsibility for Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania. She is married with two sons.
