Adam Liaw

He is an experienced non-executive director in the arts, non-for-profit, education and diplomacy sectors and currently serves as Chair of Sustainable Screens Australia and a board member of the Asia Society Australia, The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) and The Australian Father’s Day Council. He is co-Managing Director of i8 Studio, a television production company based in Sydney.

Adam is a former executive of The Walt Disney Company (Japan), where he served as a director and the Head of Legal and Business Affairs (Asia Pacific) for Disney Interactive. Notable projects include Disney’s first corporate acquisition within mainland China, and the establishment of Disney Mobile Japan.

In Australia, Adam has established a career as one of the country’s most in-demand writers and broadcasters. He is the author of eleven cookbooks and has variously hosted and produced a range of documentary, food and entertainment television and audio programs including the award-winning Destination Flavour (SBS), Tomorrow Tonight (ABC), Who The Bloody Hell Are We? (SBS), The Cook Up with Adam Liaw (SBS), Good Food Kitchen (Nine), and How Taste Changed the World (Audible).
