Hideyuki Irisawa is Executive Officer of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd where he is responsible for business functions in the Southeast Asia and Oceania region. He oversees the management and growth of MOL’s shipping and non-shipping business portfolios, encompassing car carrier operations, alternative fuels, investments in LNG and logistics infrastructure, as well as emerging areas such as start-ups and wind power. He plays a key role advancing regional business strategy and development initiatives.

Prior to his current appointment, Hideyuki served as Director of MOL (Asia Oceania), Managing Director of MOL Shipping Australia, and Chief Country Representative for MOL Australia. Having spent close to ten years in the region, he brings deep regional insight and strong leadership experience. Throughout his career, Hideyuki has built extensive expertise across both the commercial and investment portfolios of MOL’s business. His professional background includes significant experience in the dry bulk shipping sector, as well as asset management and strategic investments across real estate and shipping.
