Joel De Stoop

CEO, Climatech Group

Joel De Stoop is the CEO of Climatech Group, where he has spent 20 years helping build the business in a variety of roles, being appointed CEO in 2021. Commencing his career as a commercial litigation lawyer, he has also worked within Defense prior to moving into the construction sector. Climatech Group is a Sojitz Corporation company (Sojitz invested in the business in 2025), specializing in HVAC and cooling systems for data centers and large scale commercial and industrial buildings. Joel is particularly passionate about the role Climatech Group is playing in helping build out the digital infrastructure pipeline in Australia and helping deliver innovative cooling solutions for rapidly evolving technology.
