Lee Levkowitz

Head of Energy and Business Insights, BHP

Lee Levkowitz is BHP's Head of Energy and Business Insights, based in Melbourne. She leads BHP's global team responsible for integrated energy, carbon and technology analysis, and is responsible for managing BHP’s end-to-end infrastructure for long-run price forecasting.

She brings more than 15 years of experience in energy, technology and carbon analysis, with a particular focus on Asian markets, international relations and scenario modelling. Before her current role she held senior research and analysis positions at BHP in Singapore, and prior to that worked at IHS Markit in Beijing and Washington, the International Energy Forum, the US State Department's Bureau of Energy Resources, and the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission.

Lee holds a Master of Arts with Distinction in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University. She is a proficient Mandarin speaker.
