Shinichi Seto

President & CEO, Daiwa Corporate Investment

Shinichi Seto joined Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd. in 1993 and built his career primarily in corporate and institutional business, while also gaining experience in corporate planning and business strategy at the group headquarters.

In 2011, he was appointed Chief Representative of Daiwa Securities Capital Markets Co. Ltd.’s Bangkok office, where he led overseas operations and international business development. He later returned to the headquarters and served as Head of Corporate Communications, overseeing external communications and the group’s branding strategy.

From 2018, he headed the Financial Institutions Division at Daiwa Securities and served as Executive Managing Director, overseeing business with financial institutions and public-sector clients.

Since April 2026, he has been serving as President and CEO of Daiwa Corporate Investment Co., Ltd., where he leads venture capital and private equity investment activities to support industrial growth.
