Takefumi Nishikawa is an Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Sojitz Corporation, a Tokyo-based general trading company, where he leads the Energy Solutions & Public Infrastructure Division. He oversees the division's global business operations and leads the development and execution of major international infrastructure projects, including collaborative Australia–Japan initiatives through partnerships with Capella Capital, Australia's leading public infrastructure developer, financial advisor, and asset manager; Ellis Air Conditioning, an established provider of air conditioning and mechanical services for the commercial building industry; and Climatech, one of Australia's leading mechanical services contractors.

Having built his career across power and infrastructure business and corporate planning, Mr. Nishikawa has held a series of leadership positions, including General Manager of the Corporate Planning Department, before being appointed Executive Officer in 2022.

Drawing on three decades of industry experience, the division advances a broad portfolio of energy and infrastructure businesses spanning renewable energy, energy conservation, energy transition, and large-scale public-private partnership (PPP) infrastructure projects.
