Miki Tsusaka is the Representative Director and President of Microsoft Japan. Appointed in February 2023, she leads Microsoft’s engagement with customers, and business partners and is responsible for all product, solution, service, and support offerings in Japan.

Under her leadership, she focuses on enabling the acceleration of Japan's digital transformation through Microsoft’s global and local expertise of our leading productivity and platform solutions. She will also build and reinforce Microsoft’s reputation in Japan as a trusted partner for individuals, organizations, and governments.

Prior to joining Microsoft Japan, she was a Senior Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she worked for clients in a wide range of industries in Japan and overseas, helping them develop and implement growth strategies, improve profitability, redesign organization, and promote digital transformation. She established strategic consulting groups specializing in marketing, sales and pricing strategy development and led the expansion of BCG's service areas. As for BCG’s operation, she has been a member of the Executive Committee for two three-year terms and served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) as well.

Tsusaka holds a Bachelor of AB, Government and East Asian Studies from the Harvard University, and an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School.

Hiroyuki Okuzawa has served as the Representative Director, President & COO of Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd. since April 2023. Throughout his career, Okuzawa has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in global business operations and corporate functions.

He joined the company in 1986 and spent a total of 8 years stationed in Germany, where the the company's European headquarters is located. Since then, he has gained various global experiences. Óscar García Maceiras obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Law from Universidade de A Coruña and PhD in Law from Universidad CEU San Pablo.
He is a State Attorney, a position he held in his city of birth between 2001 and 2005.
In 2005 he joined Banco Pastor, first as the Chief Legal Officer and later as its General and Board Secretary.
In 2012 he was named Deputy Secretary of the Board and Head of Corporate Legal Department at Banco Popular.

Takayuki Morita became President and CEO of NEC Corporation, a leader in the integration of IT and network technologies that deliver benefits to businesses and people around the world, on April 1, 2021.

In the same year, Morita announced the "Mid-term Management Plan 2025" and released the "NEC 2030VISION," a roadmap toward the realization of NEC’s Purpose, which each reflect his commitment to Purpose-driven Management.

Previously, he was CFO, where he managed the financial strategy and operations of NEC's 100,000 employees and total revenue of $25 billion at the time. He was also responsible for Corporate Business Development functions, including the oversight of M&A and other investments that have reinforced NEC's solutions for society, such as major advancements in the digital finance, digital government and drug development fields.

Having joined NEC in 1983, Morita's experience in the global ICT industry now spans more than four decades, six years of which he spent working in the U.S. market. In the past twenty years, he has played a central role in the development of partnerships and alliances with corporations across the globe - having completed more than forty deals of corporate mergers & acquisitions and investments. Osamu Okuda was born in Gifu Prefecture in 1963. He graduated from Gifu Pharmaceutical University in 1987 and joined Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., working first in the International Development Dept., where he was involved in the US clinical trials of epoetin. He was then sent to study at Osaka University and received his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical science in 1995. Moving to the Clinical Research Dept. in 2000, he was responsible for the global studies of Actemra (tocilizumab). From 2003 to 2005, he was Associate Director of Chugai Pharma Europe based in London, and jointly planned the overall global phase III studies of Actemra in RA, the first co-development product with Roche since the launch of the strategic alliance. From 2011 to 2013, he was Managing Director of Roche Products (Ireland) Ltd. based in Dublin. Returning to Chugai in 2013, Dr. Okuda served as Head of the Oncology Unit in the Marketing and Sales Div. until 2014, and Head of Corporate Planning Dept. from 2015 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020 he was Co-Head of the Project-Lifecycle Management Unit. In March 2020, Dr. Okuda was named Representative Director, President & COO, and became Representative Director, President & CEO in March 2021 (to present).

Christoph is a mechanical engineer by training, holding a master’s degree with distinction, and a Ph.D. from ETH Zurich. He has positioned DX (Digital Transformation) and SX (Sustainability Transformation) as the core of his growth strategy and is accelerating the transformation of KPMG Japan as a whole, which provides auditing, taxation, and consulting services, etc. In DX, he is leveraging his global network to utilize cutting-edge technologies such as AI and promote data-driven practices. In SX, KPMG AZSA Sustainability marks its 20th anniversary of the establishment this year, and is further reinforcing its structure to meet the needs of companies as a frontrunner in the industry.

Yasu Higuchi began working as an engineer for Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (now Panasonic) in 1980. In 1992, he joined The Boston Consulting Group. After working for Apple Computer Inc., and Compaq Computer Corporation, he became the President of Hewlett-Packard Japan, Ltd. in 2003. At the request of the Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan, he took up the position of President and CEO of the retail giant Daiei, Inc. in 2005 where he spent two years rebuilding the company. In 2007 he became a Representative Executive Officer and COO of Microsoft Co., Ltd. (now Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd.), before becoming President and then Chairman. In 2017 he rejoined Panasonic Corporation as a Representative Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer and CEO of the Connected Solutions Company. Along with Panasonic’s transition to a holding company system in 2022, the company changed its name to Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd., where he is currently President and CEO.

Kazuo Ichijo is a Professor of Innovation and Leadership at IMD. His research interests focus on innovation through the process of organizational knowledge creation. His areas of expertise are the development of knowledge-based competence of a firm, the management of innovation, and corporate transformation.

Ichijo has published a number of papers in these research areas. His book, "Enabling Knowledge Creation: How to Unlock the Mystery of Tacit Knowledge and Release the Power of Innovation", won the Best Business Book of the Year award 2000 from the Association of American Publisher's Professional and Scientific Publishing division. He has published a number of academic papers, business journal articles, and books worldwide. "Business Despite Borders: Capitalism in the Age of Populist Anti-Globalization" (Santiago Iñiguez de Onzoño and Kazuo Ichijo (editors), Palgrave Macmillan, 2018) is one of his recent publications.

Ichijo has been involved in many corporate transformation activities initiated by leading companies as a consultant and as an outside board member.

From 2003 to 2009, Ichijo worked as the first Japanese Professor at IMD. After working as Dean of the School of International Corporate Strategy, Hitotsubashi University Business School for 8 years, in April 2022, Ichijo returned to IMD as a full-time member of IMD’s Faculty, to extend IMD’s international reach, growing its ties with Japan’s business community, and helping drive the development of its future leaders.

He is the holder of a BA (social sciences) and MS (social sciences) from Hitotsubashi University and a Ph.D. (business administration) from the University of Michigan.

Dom is currently the regional general manager for Uber's mobility business across the Asia Pacific region, overseeing the expansion of the service and safety of riders and drivers in some of the company’s biggest and fastest growing markets including Japan, India and Australia. Dom joined Uber early in its history in 2014 in his native Australia. His first job was introducing Uber to drivers in Sydney before embarking on a wide range of roles within the company, including general manager of Australia & New Zealand. Prior to Uber, Dom worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Macquarie Group and as a consultant for PwC. A father of three daughters, he has a masters in economic history from the University of Oxford as well as undergraduate degrees in accounting from the University of Technology, Sydney and commerce from the University of Melbourne.
