Registrations for the 14th Nikkei Global Management Forum have closed.

Thank you for the many applications received. The forum will be covered on NIKKEI.com (online news in English), in the Nikkei, Nikkei Business Daily and THE NIKKEI WEEKLY newspapers, as well as on news and other TV programs on TV TOKYO and Nikkei CNBC.

Registration procedures

Pre-registration is required to attend "Nikkei Forum". Please send in this online form after filling in all of the required information on the Application Form. Forum attendance is only available to those who complete pre-registration, and anyone arriving at the venue without completing pre-registration will not be admitted.

Registration confirmation e-mail

A "Registration Confirmation E-mail" will be sent to the e-mail address that you entered during registration. If you have not received a "Registration Confirmation E-mail" within twenty-four hours of registration, please contact the secretariat by e-mail.

Notification to the applicants

Main Forum:
Notification will be sent to the successful applicants along with an entrance ticket to the forum. As a result of the lottery, "Entrance Tickets" will be mailed to successful applicants by Thursday, October 18. Those who unfortunately were not selected in the lottery will also be notified by mail. If you have not received any notice after Thursday, October 18, please contact the secretariat.

Special Session:
Notification will be sent to the successful applicants along with an entrance ticket to the forum. As a result of the lottery, "Entrance Tickets" will be mailed to successful applicants by Thursday, October 2. Those who unfortunately were not selected in the lottery will also be notified by mail. If you have not received any notice after Thursday, October 2, please contact the secretariat.

Payment of the registration fee

An entrance tickets and an invoice will be mailed to successful applicants. Payment of the registration fee should be made by bank transfer by the date listed on the invoice. Seats will be guaranteed only after the secretariat confirms payment of the registration fee. Secretariat will not issue receipts unless requested by the applicant. We will not accept payment on the Forum site.

Cancellation

Cancellation will not be accepted. No refunds will be made for cancellations or no-shows, although a proxy may take your place. However, cancellations on the day due to unforeseen events (e.g. unavailability of public transportation) will be accepted. Please contact the secretariat should this be the case.

Changes in the conference program/cancellation of forum events

Please note that "Nikkei Forum" may be changed/cancelled without prior notification due to various reasons. In case of cancellation of the entire event, there will be a full refund of the registration fee.

Privacy policy and terms of use

You may be contacted by E-mail or phone for purposes of clarification in the event that there are areas of your registration that are unclear. The personal information that you have provided will only be used by the "Nikkei Forum" management, and when required as contact information in the cases specified below.

(1) For the management of "Nikkei Forum" contacting and sending necessary materials related to the conference.

(2) As statistical data for further development and enhancement of our future symposiums. (using a form in which individuals are not specified)

(3) For sending notices written in Japanese on symposiums, seminars, exhibitions organized by Nikkei Inc. by post and by E-mail

If you do not wish to receive (3), please check "No" in the corresponding "Information by Mail" and "Information by E-Mail" boxes on the registration form. Personal information belonging to those who do not wish to receive (3) will be stored by Nikkei Inc. for less than six months.

(4) Certain personal information of applicants to the Special Session will be provided to the corporate sponsor, the UBS Group. The following information will be provided: name of applicant, company name, department, position, contact category, address, telephone number and E-mail address; plus a number of questionnaire items: affiliation, listed/unlisted, number of employees, position and financial assets. If you do not wish the information listed in (4) to be provided to the UBS Group, please tick the “No” box next to the question “Is it OK to provide your information to the UBS Group?” I agree with the above, and wish to apply to attend Nikkei Forum.
