Ramon S. Ang is Vice Chairman, President and Chief Operating Officer of San Miguel Corporation, the Philippines’ largest and most diversified conglomerate. 

Under his leadership, the company has undergone a strategic shift, moving into high-growth industries such as power generation, oil refining and marketing and infrastructure, even as its core food, beverage and packaging businesses continue to maintain their dominance in their respective fields.

He is one of the country’s top industrialists for over a decade, holding several senior executive positions in SMC. Among these: Vice Chairman (since 1999), President and Chief Operating Officer (since 2002), and Member of the Executive Committee and Nomination and Hearing Committee. 

He also heads several SMC subsidiaries and affiliate companies. He is Chairman of San Miguel Brewery, Inc.; San Miguel Brewery Hong Kong, Limited, and Vice-Chairman of San Miguel Pure Foods Company, Inc. and Ginebra San Miguel Inc.

He is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Petron Corporation, Petron Marketing Corporation, and SMC Global Power Holdings Corp. He is Chairman and President of San Miguel Infrastructure Corporation, SMC Infra Resources Inc., Optimal Infrastructure Development, Inc., Rapid Thoroughfares Inc., Trans Aire Development Holdings Corp., and San Miguel Properties Inc. 

Mr. Ang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
